Donnie Darko (For Those Who Haven't Lived Yet)

I've come to the nasty realization that pretty much 90 percent of all of the people that I know haven't seen the cult classic film "Donnie Darko". This has been the movie that I have basically lived by since my childhood people!! I honestly have no idea how these homo-sapiens walk through life without witnessing this amazing movie at least once during their lifetime to flip their brains around and make them think about why they exist, when they'll die, why some people may be weird, and amazing fucking bunny rabbits named Frank. Just....please somebody watch this movie and tell me how you like it. It would make my day knowing that im not alone here. If anybody knows of any other amazing movies like this email me at zeekydeeky16@yahoo.com.

Tattoo's

What's up everyone?? I just wanted to write a little thing about my tattoos for all of you who really want to get one or are not sure about it. I got my first one about a month or two ago i can't really remember but its the name "valerie" in curly script lettering with blue and white coloring. I've been with my girlfriend close to three years now and she's been with me through the good and the bad in my life. I got her name right on my heart "one of the most painful places I could have started my tattoos! To me my tattoos will represent my life in art on my body so I recently got a coy fish half sleeve and on the inside of my arms i'm going to add little coy fish for my children :) I got it on my left arm and really the most painful place for me on that arm to be tattooed was the inside of my arm! Good god that hurt so bad but it was so worth it, if i can find a camera i'm going to post pictures of them up on this blog.

Music And It's Meaning (To Me)

Okay, I believe i've mentioned in my past posts that I am a musician. I picked up the guitar around the age of seven and never put it down. I have been in countless bands and have learned many instruments to me and one thing people have always said to me is "dude, your so good at that how do you do it, or "your so cool dude I wish I could do it". Well, the only thing I tell them is that they can play any instrument they wish to play because its really not about the skill level or the basis of knowledge you have about the instrument, its how you feel when you play it. I mean, watch any really good band my favorite being Evans Blue (i've been following them since their first cd until Kevin Matisyn went to Parabelle and now I listen to Parabelle). If you watch Kevin (Matisyn) perform his songs acoustic that man just pours his heart out in his words and it causes the rest of the band to really play with their hearts. To me their really isn't good music without feeling or meaning behind it, therefore I really can't stand a lot of hip hop or rap. It's people like Damien Rice or Eddie Vedder that honestly inspire me and I can feel what their singing about. Through all of the good and the really bad times writing and playing music has truly kept me from dying in one way shape or form and when I lost that passion for playing music when I was playing in bands that didn't get along it brought me closer to death so for me playing guitar or any instrument for that matter isn't about how much you know or how good you are at it, it's about how you express yourself through the strings and your words!

How To Have Fun In Long Term Relationships

So you've met the girl you want to marry? You really know your in love? But things are getting boring for you, you've got into a habit of knowing what you both enjoy doing. Well those things are like a good song, its amazing when you hear it and then you turn on your radio and hear it a million times....ruined! Lets say you get into a routine where you go to her house...sit, you go to his house...sit, maybe kiss, have sex whatever. Now if your a virgin this sounds AWESOME, I know. But, when you want to keep your relationship going and keep him/her interested in spending time with you and enjoy being with you, you have to spice things up when you spend time with your significant other. Try, random movies, driving around until you get "lost" (but don't really get lost that's an awful idea), rolling around and play fighting with eachother, or as my girlfriend says let the girl try to get you home. Remember its all about keeping your girlfriend/boyfriend interested in spending their time with you. So to all the people that have relationships but it seems like your lover is more interested in doing things without you or trying not to spend time with you remember some of these things...i'm not responsible for anything that you fuck up with, hince, "getting lost". That could be a little dangerous at times and could lead to a fight but be careful.

Being A Commercial Electrician

I was on a Greyhound bus coming back to Virginia from Delaware where I was at the time (13 hour rides on those things suck), and I was broke and depressed and ran into to this woman who told me about working for the national electricians union. Well with me being broke and needing something to do I went down to my local IBEW (or international brotherhood of electrical workers) union and put in my application. Well about a month later they called me to do a residential job at a power company where I learned how to bend conduit, hang conduit, pull wire through it, connect it to a control room, and give it power from a G1 and G2 transformer control. I may only be 18 but I can honestly say I have a fairly built up resume and I would highly recommend to anyone to get a few trades under their belt when their in the work world, it will never hurt you :)

How To Fix Serpentine Belt Squeals

I own a 2003 Ford Taurus V6 with the Vulcan Engine and I had an issue with my serpentine belt squealing. After replacing the alternator I noticed that my power steering pump shaft was a little worn causing the pulley to wiggle around thus the cause of the squeal! But with me going away to school and recently being laid off of course I don't have the money to fix this issue so I decided to try out a few lubricating methods....first off, WD-40/ PB penetrating spray will fix it for about ten minutes but comes back worse (I know that WD-40 will break down the belt but hey it was just a quick fix). But the real secret to getting rid of a squeal or a chirp is silicone spray. It will fix the problem for a while at least until you can get the money to fix the real problem, just remember not to spray way too much just enough for the belt to soak up the silicone.

How To Get Free Movies

First of all I have no control over what you do with this information this is strictly for educational purposes....but have you ever wanted to know how to get free movies and put them on dvd? well im going to tell you right here right now! First of all download uTorrent 2.2 and install VODO to make sure your safe with the torrents. Everybody has heard how dangerous they are but their really only dangerous if your stupid with the sources you get them from...the site I use mostly is www.thepiratebay.org. You download the Torrent and i created a download folder in my documents so everything I download goes into that and im not confused of where they went on my computer. Once that's downloaded open it up and make sure it opens in uTorrent (you can do that by right clicking the file and choose the option open with and find the program you want and click on it). The file is going to seed and download what's in the torrent and in most cases its either .avi or .iso, sometimes you'll find other extensions but just search around or add a comment and ill make sure i can show you how to make those work as well. The programs that I found are useful are DVD flick, DVD shrink 3.2, and imgburn...they are both freeware programs but once the file is downloaded open up DVD flick and add the file to the program and hit create DVD. Depending on how fast your computer is it should take anywhere from an hour to two hours. After you have completed that it'll be in parts somewhere on your computer wherever you chose to download them too, this is where DVD shrink comes into play. Open up DVD Shrink and click add files, once you've done that and find the folder where you created the DVD too you'll notice their is an audio-TS and a video-TS folder in their. Highlight the video-TS folder and click ok and then hit backup DVD. This is going to compress all of the parts into one .iso image file to burn onto your DVD. this should take about 15 minutes; once that is complete use imgburn and use the option "write files to disc". When pops up find where DVD Shrink put your .iso file and add into the source menu...it should be labeled as plain old "DVD". then you just insert your DVD-R or DVD-RW disc into your disc drive and hit the play button on imgburn and voila :) You should be left with your DVD!!! If you have any questions or comments please feel free to email me at zeekydeeky16@yahoo.com and I'll make sure to give you any information I can provide.

Trade School

okay, first of all anyone who goes to college pretty much has to fill out this fafsa thing that shows the financial status of your family. It's hard as hell to get this thing filled out correctly! I am an avid lover of cars and fixing things so I made the decision to go to the Universal Technical Institute and do the Ford program because I for some reason love Ford's. Of course i'll be writing my experiences on here for everyone to see but its going to be very very hard on me, first of all my start date is December the fifth and i just finished filling out my fafsa last night! I'm doing all of this because my dream has been to be able to support a family and have a comfortable happy home life for my children because that's what i've personally always wanted for myself and never got. I've never been into dumb things like partying, drinking, and drugs so it won't be a hindrance for my career when I go into the field I just wanted to let people know how fricking hard it is to do all of this stuff and paperwork that goes into getting into a school when you support yourself as an eighteen year old. It makes your life suck!! If anyone has any car questions feel free to comment on my posts or shoot me an email at zeekydeeky16@yahoo.com and I can garauntee you a fix :)

Cold Cigarettes

When I wake up here right beside the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway in the very beginnings of November it can be pretty frickin' cold! But as my life has played out I have made the conscience decision to smoke and now as soon as I wake up I tend to light up my cigarette and check all of the online communities I'm a part of. My email, my facebook, my youtube, and this very blog. One odd thing I've noticed is that if your a smoker your automatically a part of a community in the real world because with this subject people are literally either for or against it. You have the people that are very against doing it and the people that say "hell, go live your life the way you want too" are the exact opposite. When I started smoking I gained friends I never would have thought I had (not always a good thing), and listened to music I never thought I would have listened too and due to the fact that I'm a musician that really is a very good thing. But all in all I love waking up and enjoying my cold cigarette, it relieves the stresses of my previous day and helps the new one go on semi-happily :)

Insomnia Rampant :/

As a teenager I find it very hard to fall asleep, almost running on maybe six hours of sleep in a five day period at times! And you wonder why people think my generation is lazy. My life is incredibly hindered by this so called "disease", but I think i found the problem. For me it's that there is too much going on this world at one time, and it never stops and if your anything like me you really want to know whats going on around you at all times. That's just general human nature, and the real instigator for this is the internet; it has made life twenty gazillion times better within the span of maybe 40 years since the silicon bang where our generations innovator Steve Jobs (R.I.P) harnessed the full potential of this beast and used it to his advantage. Yet, oddly enough, it's there to cater to any and all interests of the people which is really how he marketed what he was doing, in other words he made something already out their absolutely essential to every home in the nation. This is where my issue comes into play, I just can't sleep because I know what interests me and I have to find out whats going on in those fields of interests at all times day or night. If anybody has any ideas of something I need to experience and write about please let me know by leaving a comment below or shoot me an email at zeekydeeky16@yahoo.com :)
